History Channel film on the American Revolution shown at DAR meeting

At the recent Fort Larned Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution meeting, hostess Oleta Beckwith played a film “America a Story of Us, American Revolution” from the History Channel.

The next meeting will be held at 2 p.m. on March 12 at the Sante Fe Trail Center west of Larned on K-156. Host will be Kathleen Foster. All members are encouraged to bring guest as the program will be about the World War II posters on display.

Fort Larned Chapter of the NSDAR includes Pawnee, Barton and Edwards counties.
