An open-air tent revival is taking place this week at 242 U.S. 281, Great Bend. The “Hope for My City” gathering mirrors the evangelical revivals that happened across the South in the 1800s, with a big tent for anyone who wishes to attend. The nightly programs started on Monday and continue from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday

The sponsors encourage attendees to bring blankets and lawn chairs for a relaxed worshipping experience.

The revival’s message centers on hope and unity, with organizers emphasizing that the event is open to all — regardless of background or circumstance. Evangelist Jayme Montera will serve as guest speaker throughout the week, leading nightly services focused on faith, restoration, and community.
