Janet Smith of Hoisington will celebrate her 90th birthday on Jan. 10, 2022, with a card shower.

Janet was born on Jan. 10, 1932 in Hoisington. She was employed by Western Power, Southwestern Bell and Essex. She was married to Verlin Smith. He died in 2008. Her children are Patty and Bill Stueder of Claflin, Becky Griffith of Overland Park, and Cindy Schrader of Sturgis, Mich. She has five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
