Don and Rosie (Roth) Joiner were married 50 years ago on Sept. 3, 1971, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ellinwood.  

Lifelong residents of Ellinwood, Don worked in the oilfield industry for over 50 years. Rosie worked in the insurance industry for 40 plus years.

The couple have two sons, Justin (Meredith) and Derek (Stephanie), who also reside in Ellinwood; and six grandchildren, Britton, Jocelyn, Jackson, Eleanor, Emalie and Addilyn.  

The couple celebrated with a family dinner.
