Judy Komarek of Ellinwood will celebrate her 80th birthday with a reception at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, at the American Legion in Ellinwood. The event will be hosted by her children, Chris Komarek and Michelle Fryberger, both of Ellinwood, and Darlene Demel of Claflin, and their families.

Judy was born on Jan. 25, 1942. She was a long-time secretary at Jensen Associates and is currently retired. She and her husband Jerry have three children, six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
