Kanza DAR observes Flag Day

Kanza Chapter DAR members visited Kenwood Plaza, St. John, on Friday, June 14, to honor the flag of the United States of America on Flag Day. A new American flag was presented to the home from the chapter. 

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was led by Connie Grizzell. Special recognition and thanks was given to the four veteran residents. Patriotic piano music was provided by Alda Hildebrand. Chapter members Gayle Bigelow and Barbara Grimmett assisted with the program.
