Breanne M. Riggs and Hugo R. Lalane were united in marriage on Jan. 19, 2019 on the beach at the Huracan Cafe in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. On April 27 a wedding dinner reception was held at the Best Western Courtyard in Great Bend. The bride is the daughter of Betty and Dale Riggs of Great Bend. The groom is the son of Gaby and Nelson Bodden of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

The bride is a graduate of Great Bend High School, Barton Community College and Kansas State University. She has a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Manhattan. She is employed at South Boston Animal Hospital, Boston, Mass.

The groom is a graduate of Luis Munoz Rivera School. He has a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Universidad Pedro Henriquez Urena, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is employed at Angell Animal Medical Center, Boston, Mass.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Hong Kong and Bali, Indonesia. They reside in Jamaica Plains, Mass. and will be moving to the Denver, Colo. area.
