Landrum and Dozier join Rotary

Chris Landrum and the Rev. Dwight Dozier have been inducted as the newest members of the Great Bend Rotary Club.

Landrum, a sales and service associate for Cellular Sales (authorized Verizon agent) is a Great Bend native and 2000 graduate of Great Bend High School where he received all-league honors in football. He attended Garden City Community College on an athletic scholarship. Chris and his family live in Ellinwood. For enjoyment, he enjoys coaching football and basketball in Great Bend and Ellinwood at the middle school level. He looks forward to fellowship and networking with other Rotarians and serving the club with his expertise in social media.

The Rev. Dwight Dozier is the well-known lead pastor of First Assembly of God in Great Bend, where he has served for 17 years. He has held several responsible state-wide positions within the Assemblies of God. He says he joined Rotary because he wanted to become more community connected.

Great Bend Rotary Club is in its 97th year of service to the needs of mankind throughout the community and the world. The club is currently comprised of 40 men and women. It is part of Rotary International, an organization of 1.2 million members in 34,000 clubs in 200 countries that have six areas of focus: disease prevention and treatment; water and sanitation; maternal and child health; basic education and literacy; economic and community development; and world peace and conflict resolution.
