Leona Delphine Haase will celebrate her 100th birthday with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, at River Bend Assisted Living. The reception will be hosted by her daughters Renee Johnson, Suzanne Hachmeister (Marv), Colette Langley (Doug); grandson Ashley Hachmeister (KyLee); and great-grandsons Hudson and Ryder. 

Leona was born on Nov. 25, 1919, to Jeremiah and Rosalie Forgue in Zurich, Kansas. She was the seventh of eight children. Leona graduated from Palco High School and married William (Bill) Haase (deceased) on Aug. 10, 1946 in Plainville.
