In theaters: 'Home'

PluggedIn.com says that although Home is a tad derivative and contains toilet bowl giggles, it does have some uplifting themes. In the midst of fast-paced antics and pratfalls, tykes will find some solid encouragement to look beneath the surface and seek out the heart and unique qualities of the misfits around them. Parent Previews states that the film addresses the ideas of using literature to explore real life issues and finding appropriate boundaries for growing imagination. Netflix: 'The Croods'

The Dove Foundation calls the film a visual feast for the eyes that contains plenty of humor and laughs and ends with a father and daughter learning to express their love for each other. Redbox: 'Heaven is For Real'

Catholic News Services John Mulderig wrote, Audiences of almost any age will benefit from this intriguing, child-guided glimpse into the afterlife. While other heaven stories have recently been recanted, The Blaze reports that the subject of this film maintains the truth of his experience. Netflix: 'The Prince of Egypt'

MovieGuide.org refers to this animated portrayal of the biblical story of Moses as one of the most entertaining masterpieces of all time, stating, Although the movie contains some scary scenes, it contains nothing that little children cant watch as long as parents are involved.
