The Prairie Window Concert Series is back for its seventh year at Dyck Arboretum of the Plains in Hesston. The concert series provides participants a unique experience of great music and locally-sourced gourmet food in a prairie garden setting.
Included in the line-up are 10 String Symphony on Oct. 18, Claire Lynch Band on Nov. 1, Tim O’Brien with Old Man Luedecke on at 7 p.m. Nov. 11, Mark Erelli on Dec. 6, Betse Ellis and Ike Sheldon on Jan. 17, Lindsay Lou and The Flatbellys on Feb. 21, Matt and Shannon Heaton on March 6, and The Steel Wheels on May 1, at The Orpheum Theatre in Wichita.
All concerts are scheduled at 4 p.m. for Sunday at the Dyck Arboretum of the Plains at 177 West Hickory in Hesston, unless otherwise noted.
Season tickets are now available, with a special early bird discount through September. Those who purchase season tickets by Sept. 30, will not only receive seating preference throughout the series, but also receive one free show.
Single-concert tickets are $20 (plus tax) for adults and $10 for children 18 and under. Tickets for Tim O’Brien with Old Man Luedecke are $25 for adults plus tax, or $15 for children. Tickets for The Steel Wheels are $26 for adults plus tax, or $16 for children. Dyck Arboretum members receive a 10 percent discount on all tickets.
