The Grassroots Art Center will hold a “HATS OFF CELEBRATION” in Lucas March 14, because they won #2 in “America’s Best Restroom” contest. Wear a funky hat to the celebration and bring a chair.  
An open house will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Art Center in honor of Jim and Barbara Popp featuring “Carved Critters.”
At 3 p.m.  a celebration with a Drum Circle led by John Makings from Great Bend will be held at the Bowl Plaza. If you own a drum or percussion instrument bring it along. Hot dogs will be provided by Lucas Chamber of Commerce. Fire pits will be available to roast hot dogs and marshmallows.  
All events are free.
