42 WALLABY WAY Pixar has released a brand new trailer for its upcoming summer movie, Finding Dory a sequel to the swimmingly successful 2003 fin flick, Finding Nemo.
The first trailer, released in early November, didnt give much insight into plot or personnel, though a press release issued by Disney said that the sequel would take place off the shore of Monterey, California, just six months after the action in Nemo concludes.
In the trailer released Wednesday we get a better sense of plot, as Dory has a moment of overwhelming instinct and recalls a family she wants to get back to with Marlin and Nemo supporting her journey.
The new Finding Dory trailer also introduces new characters Bailey and Destiny who we got a peek at in December voiced by Ty Burrell of Modern Family and Kaitlin Olsen from Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia," respectively.
Similar to how Dory struggles with her finicky memory, Bailey is a beluga whale with defective sonar and Destiny is a whale shark that cant swim straight. We can only assume the two new compadres accompany Dory on her journey home the same way Dory helped Marlin find his son in Pixars first Finding feature that premiered 12 years ago.
Finding Dory is bound to make a splash this summer when it hits theaters June 17.
