Hello from the Great Bend Public Library. If you haven’t been in to see us recently you should definitely make time to visit us. Our Summer Library Program is in full swing and we are gearing up for more awesome events. Today at 2 p.m. we have Crochet @ the Library.
On Monday, June 12, we have Crochet @ the Library at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.
On Tuesday, June 13, we have Story Time at 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Our Tech Tuesday is all about How to use Instagram. Set up an account and learn all about Instagram and Hashtags#. You will need an email account for this course. At 2:30 p.m., there will be a movie in the Teen Room.
On Wednesday at 2 p.m., there will be a Live Action Story time.
On Thursday there will be an Adult Craft at 6 p.m. Participants will be making Honeycomb Paper Lanterns. Also at 6 p.m. there will be a family Lego Build night. Bring the entire family to create and build to your heart’s content.
On Friday, June 16, there will be Crochet @ the Library at 2 p.m. and a family movie at 2 p.m. as well.
We hope to see you soon. We are looking for artists to show work at our display area. If you have any art that you are wanting to display please contact Miss Amy at 620-792-2409. You can always come in and talk to her in person.
The Crochet Club is working hard at making infant hats for charity. They they have kits available for a suggested donation of $5 that include knitting needles or a crochet hook, a new skein of yarn, and free patterns. They also have free patterns available for anyone to pick up.
