Hello and Happy February from the Great Bend Public Library.

This Sunday, Feb. 5, there is a Friends of the Library meeting at 2 p.m.


Monday, Feb. 6, Crochet Classes are at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. At 4 p.m. there will be a Makerspace.


On Tuesday, Feb. 10, there are Baby Classes (formerly Baby and Me) at 11 a.m. there will be a Children’s Class. At 3 p.m. there is an Open Tech Hour. Please bring in your devices and we will do our best to help you with any questions you may have.


On Thursday, Feb. 9, there will be Magic the Gathering at 5 p.m. At 6 p.m. there is the Adult’s Night Out Craft. They are making a Sugar Scrub.


Next Friday, Feb. 10, there will be a Children’s Class at 10 a.m. and a Children’s Movie at 4 p.m.

The Crochet Club sends out a special thank you to Cheryl Lippert, Gina Munz, and Bernice Wooding for their wonderful donations and contributions to the Crochet Club. We have finished our Warmth for Winter Campaign, but we are still accepting donations of yarn and crochet hooks for future projects.

On behalf of Children’s Department, we would like to thank Dr. Ross Hildebrand, DDS and Dr. Mark E. Huslig, DDS, for their donations of 27 toothbrushes for our upcoming Dental Health Program. This program will be at 11 a.m. , Feb. 7, in the Children’s Department.
