The Grassroots Art Center, 213 S. Main, Lucas, will open its doors free of charge on Sept. 26, as part of Smithsonian magazine’s 11th annual Museum Day Live! On this day only, participating museums across the United States open their doors for free to those who download a Museum Day Live ticket. The ticket is available for download at Smithsonian.com/museumday. Visitors who present the ticket will gain free entrance for two for one day only. One ticket, per household, per email address is permitted.
Come for Museum Day Live! and join the Lid Off Film Festival activities. Admission for the film festival is $10 per day or $25 for all three days. There will be a heavy visual arts component to the festival featuring dozens of local, regional  and international artists.
