WAYNE MANOR A brand new teaser trailer for The Lego Batman Movie was released Monday, packed with plenty of offbeat humor and mislaid karate moves.

The Lego Batman Movie, an offshoot of the wildly successful original Lego Movie that grossed nearly $500 million after premiering in 2014, stars Will Arnett (Arrested Development) as the deep-throated voice of the caped crusader. Joining Arnett on the star-studded cast roster are Ralph Fiennes (Lord Voldemort in the Harry Potter series) as Alfred, Michael Cera (Juno) will voice sidekick Robin and Zach Galifianakis (The Hangover) will play Batmans arch nemesis: the Joker.

The teaser trailer released by Lego pays homage to Batman film history in meta fashion, referencing all of the previous movies by years and even showing a clip of the Adam West original movie and calling it that weird one in 1966.

If you enjoyed the fast-paced, reference-heavy humor of The Lego Movie, this trailer indicates youre in for a treat.

Lego released Mondays trailer on the heels of another one that showed off the Lego Batcave. It was unleashed on the Internet Thursday and took viewers inside Bruce Waynes inner sanctum.

Hopefully, you're not too eager because The Lego Batman Movie wont be out for another year. It currently has a release date of Feb. 10, 2017.
