Based on the best-selling novel by master storyteller Nicholas Sparks, THE LONGEST RIDE centers on the star-crossed love affair between Luke (Scott Eastwood), a former champion bull rider looking to make a comeback, and Sophia (Britt Robertson), a college student who is about to embark upon her dream job in New York Citys art world. The Longest Ride: 3 points for parents

  • Sexuality/nudity A woman forces another womans shirt down to reveal her cleavage. A couple start kissing in the stock room of a store and start disrobing. A woman goes to shower, but leaves the door partially open as she disrobes. The man joins her and they are seen in the shower from the waist up with arms covering certain body parts. The side of a womans breast is seen, but no more. The couple are seen taking each others clothes off in a hotel room. The same couple are in bed kissing, both naked (shoulders and legs visible) and not, in various other scenes. In another scene a mans rear end is partially shown. A couple strips down to their underwear to go swimming.
  • Violence Some war violence as men are injured from bullets. A man is violently bucked off a bull twice in the film. A woman is torn away from a child she is hugging.
  • Language/death A little profanity is used. Two deaths in the film; each is expected.
