Heres a shout-out for Chicago Cubs fans Major League Baseball has released the entire 2016 World Series on Blu-ray.

2016 World Series Collectors Edition: Chicago Cubs (MLB/Shout!, 2016, eight discs, seven games, NLC Game 6, audio options: TV, home radio, away radio, Spanish-language, insert with game trivia and stats). A couple of weeks ago, I reviewed the annual MLB World Series documentary, but this is the complete seven-game series, chronicling the Chicago Cubs amazing white-knuckle win after a very long drought. If you have a dyed-in-the-wool Chicago Cubs fan you want to make very happy this Christmas, here you go.

Harley and the Davidsons (Lionsgate, 2016, four discs, three episodes, featurette, Biketacular special). This is Discovery Channels dramatized miniseries about the three brothers who founded the iconic Harley-Davidson motorcycle company, beginning in 1903 as they try to drum up interest in the vehicles they designed and tested.

800 Words: Season 1 (Acorn, 2015, two discs, eight episodes). This is an Australian-New Zealand comedy-drama about a recently widowed Sydney newspaper columnist who impulsively buys a home over the internet and uproots his two teenage children, taking them to a small New Zealand coastal community that is filled with eccentric characters. (The second season has already aired in Australia and New Zealand; a third season has yet to be confirmed.)

American Gothic: Season 1 (CBS/Paramount, 2016, four discs, 13 episodes, extended/deleted scenes, featurettes, bloopers). The dying father of an affluent Boston family may have been a serial killer, and as evidence is uncovered, family members take action. (The series was canceled after one season.)

19-2: Season 3 (Acorn, 2014, three discs, 10 episodes, featurette). This French-Canadian crime drama is a character-driven series that follows the officers of the Montreal Police Department who, this season, must come to terms with revelations that a pedophile and a mole for organized crime infiltrated their department. (Contains coarse language, violence, sex and nudity.) (The fourth season will be shown next year.)

Britains Bloody Crown (Athena, 2016, four discs, four episodes, featurettes). Categorized as a documentary with re-enactments, this dramatic miniseries attempts to tell the true history of the Wars of the Roses, the 30-years-plus civil war that caused a dramatic series of changes in the British monarchy. (Contains violence and sex.)

The Legend of Korra: The Complete Series (Nickelodeon/Paramount, 2012-14, eight discs, 52 episodes, audio commentaries, featurettes, Art of the Animated Series booklet). This animated sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender is set in a fictional universe where some can manipulate the elements of water, earth, fire and air.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Earths Last Stand (Nickelodeon/Paramount, 2016, seven episodes). Episodes 13-19 of the current animated series fourth season have the TMNT foursome racing to New York City for a final showdown against an alien threat.
