The Truth about Steroid Use
Placeholder Image

Do you have any clue what a steroid is? Would you take the risk of becoming strong, but have really bad health problems? Do you also want to be healthy? Taking steroids will not help you achieve a healthy lifestyle.
I am sure you would like to know what a steroid is. A steroid is a drug designed to increase your muscle mass and recovery rate. This pill sounds like something you would probably want to take, but after you hear what it will do to you, I really do not think you will want to take it.
This little pill will cause major health problems. You could have an earlier death, liver cancer, or heart disease and even gain more fat after you get done using steroids. If you think that is bad, there are a lot of other bad things about this pill. More health issues that could affect you include kidney and liver failure. A number of mental health issues can also transpire such as mood swings, anger issues, and depression. Road rage may also be a direct result of the anger associated with the usage of steroids. Ask yourself, does this tiny little pill sound like a good thing now? I really do not think so.
You can obtain some of the good effects of steroid use with some hard work. You will need to eat a healthy diet and to exercise daily. You do not need to take the pill to become physically fit. Physical strength can happen by lifting weights or by training in whatever sport you are involved in.
There are many famous athletes who have been caught using steroids. Some of these athletes are Ben Johnson, Manny Ramirez, Floyd Landis, and Alex Rodriguez, but there are a lot more and probably many more who we do not even know about it. All of them thought that taking steroids would make them better athletes, in turn they were causing, major health and mental problems for themselves. Some people might want to do steroids because their favorite athlete does them. But trust me, if your favorite athlete does them, then I suggest you change your favorite athlete to someone that respectively plays a sport honestly.
If you do not take steroids, live a healthy life, and do not smoke or drink, you can live a healthy life. Living in a healthy town, school, or home can help too. Medical rates may even go down if everyone would live a more healthy lifestyle. You can start obtaining a healthy lifestyle by eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly. Riding a bike is a great way to start, and it is fun to do with your family too.
The last thing that I would like to express is that steroids are an illegal drug and if you are caught abusing them, you will most likely pay the ultimate price. If you are caught abusing steroids, you could go to jail, lose your job, family or friends. Remember that there are very few good things that can come from steroid usage and many bad things that could happen. Respect yourself enough to not use anything illegal and obtain physical strength through living a healthy lifestyle.
So do you think using steroids is a good idea? I am pretty sure I do not want to take steroids. I would rather work hard to gain physical strength. Steroids are not good for your health at all. If you want to live a healthy life, steroids are not for you.
