League of Women Voters of Great Bend will meet at noon on Tuesday at the Walnut Bowl. Enter at north doors and go through double doors on the right. 

The program will be provided by Cody Schmidt, the new mayor-elect. He will present an overlook of what he perceives to be the problems of the local government. 

Schmidt will talk about what he hopes to implement to improve life locally and how he plans to solve problems. If anyone would like to meet him and ask questions this is the time to do so face to face on an informal basis. 

Lunch will be available from the buffet or menu. Meetings are open to the public. 

League is a non-partisan organization devoted to informing and educating the voting public on national, state and local issues of importance.

 Membership is open to men and women.
