Merlyn Henning will celebrate her 90th birthday on Sept. 6, 2018, with a card shower.

Merlyn was born and raised in Barton County. On June 6, 1954, she married Robert Henning. He passed away in 2016. She has two children, Terry Henning and Nancy (Bob) Ritter, of Great Bend; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
