Breonna Lavon North and Jacob Adam Showalter were united in marriage on Nov. 25, 2023, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ellis with Father Dana Clark officiating. Parents of the couple are Travis and Ava North of McCracken and Adam and Janice Showalter of Alexander. Grandparents of the bride are Cynthia Swan of Wichita and the late Paul North. Grandparents of the groom are Patricia Showalter of Bazine, Lee Showalter of Alexander and the late Ervin Helen Koerner.

Maids of honor were Abigail North and Natalee North, both sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Haley Hellman and Taige Kliesen, both friends of the bride; Julia Zadina, cousin of the bride; and Katie Flax, Emma Webs and Elizabeth Showalter, all sisters of the groom. Mini bridesmaid was Olivia North, sister of the bride.

Best man was Michael Showalter, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Tyler Burk, Kale Mongeau, Hayden Bezona, Garrett Ryersee, Zak Brown, Cole Kershner and Hunter Morgan, friends of the groom.

The bride is a graduate of Ellis High School. She graduated with a cosmetology degree from Hays Academy of Hair Design. She is employed at Country Hair Corner and Rush County Insurance, both of La Crosse. The groom is a graduate of LaCrosse High School. He attended Colby Community College, His is a farmer/rancher and is employed by Showalter and Sons Inc. of Alexander.

Following a honeymoon to Destin, Fla. the newlyweds are at home in La Crosse.
