NSDAR honors Constitution, veterans

LARNED — Fort Larned Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) met Sept. 8 at the Santa Fe Trail Center west of Larned.

On Sept. 14, members gathered at the Pawnee County Court House for the County Commissioners to sign a county-wide proclamation for Constitution week, Sept. 17-23.

Members will meet at 9 a.m. on Oct. 10 at the Santa Fe Trail Center to begin making the blankets for veterans.

The next meeting will be held at 9 a.m. on Oct. 2, at the Santa Fe Trail Center. The Fort Larned Chapter includes Barton, Edwards, and Pawnee counties.
