LARNED — Fort Larned Chapter NSDAR met on Oct. 8, at Jordaan Library in Larned. Regent Donna Campbell called the meeting to order. She led the group through the DAR Ritual, Pledge of Allegiance, The American Creed and The Preamble to the U.S. Constitution.

Chaplin Sherry Webster delivered the Oath of Office to the new and existing officers. New officers are Merlene Baird, regent; Donna Campbell, vice regent; and Cathy Schoonover, treasurer. Existing officers are Cynthia Perez, recording secretary; Donnitta Plowman and Merlene Baird, co-registrars; Donnitta Plowman, librarian; and Sherry Webster, chaplin.

The club will also participate in the annual Veteran’s Day Parade.

The next meeting is at 2 p.m. on November 12, at Jordaan Library. The chapter includes Pawnee, Edwards and Barton counties.
