Great Bend Pilot Club initiated two new members while welcoming back a returning member during their first Fifth Tuesday after-hours meeting on Nov. 29.

The club recently added a Fifth Tuesday after-hours meeting designed to provide another opportunity for those interested in joining but not able to attend the meetings held at noon on the first and third Tuesday of each month. In opening remarks at this inaugural Fifth Tuesday meeting, President Barbara Watson said, “We are all still the same club, same goals and projects, and same leadership. This is just another opportunity for anyone interested in Pilot Club volunteerism to join and to be a part of our service organization, especially those that cannot attend our regular noon meetings. As Pilots we continue our mission to improve the quality of life in our community through our focus on brain safety and health and supporting those who care for others.” 

The next after-hours meeting will be at 5:15 p.m. on Jan. 31 at Perkins restaurant.
