Cindy Meitler, Preceptor Pi Valentine Queen

Preceptor Pi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi gave a monetary gift to the Retired Senior and Volunteer Program’s “Boxes of Love” for the elderly of Barton County in February.

The chapter had a Valentine Social Feb. 15 for members and their husbands and other guests, and named member Cindy Meitler as the chapter’s 2019 Valentine Queen. Meitler has been a member of Beta Sigma Phi since 1987, and has achieved the Master Degree. She has been honored with the Order of the Rose recognizing 15 years and the Silver Circle for 25 years of membership in Beta Sigma Phi.

The chapter will give a monetary donation to the Potato Bar fundraiser on March 12, for Nancy Fairbanks McAllister for medical expenses. McAllister is a member of Great Bend’s Xi Delta Upsilon chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.

Preceptor Pi also donated money to Meals on Wheels during the holidays to help those who are unable to pay for food. Also this month, the chapter will give a monetary donation to the Golden Belt Humane Society.

Proceeds from the chapter’s Reception Sisters project make these donations possible.
