Preceptor Pi helps families at Christmas

Preceptor Pi met Dec. 3 at the home of Rosie Luthi. Members bought items for a family for Christmas and supplies were bought for a homeless woman who had found an apartment to rent. The program was presented by Susan Coulson, giving some interesting facts of the song “The 12 Days of Christmas,” its origin, revisions and interpretations of its meaning.

The Dec. 17 meeting was held at the home of Janis Link for the Christmas Dinner and meeting. The program was presented by Susan Coulson who read a poem, a take-off on The Night Before Christmas about Santa and a soldier far from home.

The next meeting will Jan. 7 at the Christian Church with Susan Brown as hostess.
