Preceptor Pi chapter of Beta Sigma Phi has had a busy fall, starting the year in September planning service projects and enjoying a few social events.

Members named the Hungry Heart Soup Kitchen as their project to receive donations from the chapter in December and May. In October, the chapter donated craft supplies to Healing Hearts Ranch, an equine therapy program available to children and families who face emotional and behavioral challenges.

At their September social, members toured Brit Spaugh Zoo and ended the afternoon with root beer floats at the A&W. In October, Barry Bowers, a member of Golden Belt Woodcarvers, presented a program on his favorite hobby, woodcarving. He displayed several pieces of his work, including caricatures, wildlife and relief carvings.

Also in October, Preceptor Pi members helped celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of chapter member Judy and Jim Krebaum.
