Prentice Weltmer will celebrate his 80th birthday on Jan. 17, 2019, with a card shower.

Prentice was born on Jan. 17, 1939, in Great Bend. He was employed by Dillons, retiring in 2015. He and his wife Carol have two daughters, Lori Feck and husband Monte of Winfield and Janel Unrein and husband Chris of Wichita; and four grandchildren, Alicia Feck and Garrett Feck of Winfield and Blake Unrein and Brady Unrein of Wichita.
