Progress Club hears about school bond issue

Khris Thexton, superintendent of schools for USD 428, presented the program at the Nov. 4 Progress Club meeting. He discussed the responses to the survey the district conducted after the failure of the bond election. The School Board will consider the public input and may propose a revised bond issue in the spring of 2020.

The Dec. 2 meeting will be an 11:30 a.m. Christmas luncheon at the home of Sharon Jones. Hostesses will be Judy Turner and Jan Keeley.
