The Quilting Bees guild met on May 21, in the fellowship hall of the First Presbyterian Church. Phyllis Foster called to thank the prayer quilt ministry for the prayer quilt recently given. Final plans for the Quilter’s Celebration on June 1 was discussed. Several veterans receiving Quilts of Valor will be recognized along with the Quilts of Valor groups from Hays and Great Bend. In addition to presentations given, several hands-on projects will involve the participants. A pot-luck luncheon will be offered along with many door prizes.
