On July 20, the John and Minnie Oetken family met at Great Bend Best Western Court Yard for their family reunion.  
Attending the reunion were direct descendants of John and Minnie’s children, Otto, Harry, Fred, Ida, and Louis.  Those attending included Maureen Huenergardt, Arlis and Shirley Atteberry, Henry and Gloria Pence, Lavern Oetken, Nancy Lang, Dellane and Carolyn Oetken, Michael, Jeridy, Emily, Bethany and Chase Oetken, Matthew and Heidi Oetken, Rylee Bland, Darrel and Wanda Unruh, Les and Jean Workman, Vallene Immenschuh, Lori Roundtree, Jayden and McKenna Harden, Lani Immenschuh, Gerald and Karen Oetken, Olivia, Karlee, and Sophie Oetken, Rita and CeCe Gagelman.
The Louis Oetken family hosted the reunion this year. The 2015 Reunion will be hosted by the Harry Oetken family.
