Descendants of the late Adam and Clara Hejny met June 1st at the Carl Soden Recreation Center for their
annual reunion. A covered-dish dinner was sered. Hosting the event were Eugene E. and Teresa Finch. Next year the reunion will be hosted by Debbie Tammen and Sharon Satterfield.
Those attending from out of state were: Bernard and Jeanne Hejny of Grand Juction, Colo., Richard and Helen Ackerman of Concordia, Mo., and Don and Roberta Hejny of La Mesa, Calif. Others attending were: Juanita and Leroy Weathers, Mel and Ellen Richter, Eugene and Teresa Finch, Matt Ford, Leonard and Luanne French, Debbie Tammen, Robert Hejny, George and Dixie Hejny, and Miranda Hejny, all of Great Bend; Larry Clair of Ellinwood; Sally Buchman of Macksville; Howard Jesse, Melanie, Hannah, Adam and Adison Hoch, all of Gorham; Gina Cartmill of Dighton; Max and Alice Copple Miltonvale of Boyd; Susan Shupe of Healy; Al Joe Wallace of Barnard; Michelle Shupe of Dighton; and Lisa, Morgan, Balinda and Kyle Conine, all of Dighton.
