Otis Eagles and Bison Buffaloes are invited to attend the Otis-Bison All School Reunion on May 23 - May 25 in Otis. Friday’s events begin with check in from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the registration table inside the Teen Center, followed by a BBQ dinner from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. under Big Tent/City Park, followed by the band Home Brew from 9 p.m. to midnight. Advanced tickets are required for the dinner by emailing otisbisonalumni@yahoo.com by May 15th. Saturday check in is from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Teen Center. Events include a 5K walk/run (registration at 7:30 a.m.); vendor fair from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.; golf tournament, registration at 8:30 a.m. and shotgun start at 9 a.m. at the Lake Barton Golf Club in Great Bend; school related memorabilia at the high school gym from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; car show (registration at 8:30 a.m.) from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; beer garden at the city park from 10:30 a.m. to midnight at the city park; bingo at 1 p.m. at the Cougar Den on Main Street; parade (line up at 2:30 p.m.) at 3 p.m.; Cougar Olympics, (with registration prior to event) at 4:30 p.m. at SW Fisher Street; free kids games from 4:30 to 6 p.m., at the lot north of Community Bank; a silent auction with bidding beginning at 7 p.m. followed by the live auction following; and ending with a street dance from 9 p.m. to midnight with music provided by Ten Day Wish. School tours are also available. Sunday will be individual class reunions organized by each class. Participants are asked to bring lawn chairs.
