Ruth Peters will celebrate her 100th birthday from 2-4 p.m. on Oct. 27 at St. John Lutheran Church, 5th and Wilhelm, Ellinwood. Friends and family are invited.

Ruth Soeken was born Oct. 24, 1919, in rural Ellinwood. She was married to the late Marlen “Ken” Peters.
