Daniel and Stephanie (Schmeidler) Schneider of Olmitz announce the birth of their daughter, Catherine Louise Schneider, on Dec. 14, 2018, at 3:37 a.m. She weighed 8 lbs. 3 oz. and was 20 inches long. Catherine was welcomed home by her big sister Natalie, age 4, and big brother Andrew, age 2.  

Grandparents are Robert and Kathy Schneider of Olmitz and Michael and Cheryl Schmeidler of Hays. Great-grandparents are Jerry and Maggie Gerstenkorn of Great Bend, Cyril and Alice Schmeidler of Hays, and the late Paul and Rose Schneider, Duane and Bessie Allen, and Mildred Schmeidler.
