Alpha Kappa Master Sorority met on Jan. 14 at the home of Connie Carlton. Announcements included the annual Beta Sigma Phi gift discount through February. The Sweetheart Valentine Dinner will be held at 6 p.m. on Feb. 9 at the Reidener Inn. Gifts for the queen’s basket need to be turned into Connie Carlton soon.

Merlene Baird, chair of Founder’s Day, held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, had a discussion concerning invitations, favors, menu and decorations.

Patty Smith presented the program on Kansas Day, Jan. 29. Refreshments were served by the hostess during the social hour. 

The next regular meeting will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at the home of Patty Smith with Merlene Baird presenting the program.
