St. Mark Lutheran Church is hosting a benefit barbecue luncheon on Sunday, October 9, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the church Fellowship Hall, 2101 Jackson St. Proceeds will go to assist a St. Mark member family that recently experienced major damage to their home.

Lunch will include smoked pork with or without buns, mac n’ cheese, beans and a drink. Dine-in guests are invited to share a freewill offering upon arrival. Carry-out tickets will be available at the door for $10 each. Checks should be made payable to St. Mark Lutheran Church, with BBQ in the memo.
