League of Women Voters of Great Bend will meet at noon on Tuesday at the Walnut Bowl. Enter at north doors and go through double doors on the right. 

The program will be provided by Kris Thexton, Superintendent of USD 428 schools. He will be speaking about the failed bond issue and what the plans are for the future. There will probably be another bond issue for decision soon. This will be an opportunity to talk to him on an informal basis. The floor is open to questions. 

Lunch will be available from the buffet or menu. Meetings are open to the public. League is a non-partisan organization devoted to informing and educating the voting public on national, state and local issues of importance. Membership is open to men and women.
