The Barton County Association of Churches has scheduled weekly Lenten Luncheons, each with a meal and program. Lunch is served at the host church at noon Wednesdays and programs will also be streamed live on the Barton County Association of Churches Facebook page.

The luncheon for Wednesday, March 8, will be at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2701 24th St., with speaker Pastor Sandy Kennedy from Faith Community Church.

Here is the schedule for future programs:

• March 15 at Central Baptist Church with speaker Mike Munz from First Congregational Church

• March 22 at Encounter Church with speaker Father Aneesh Thomas from Prince of Peace Parish

• March 29 at the Presbyterian Church with speaker Pastor Jon Hembree from Community Christian Church

• April 5 at Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose with speaker Pastor Joseph Smeraglivolo from First Christian Church

The first luncheon was held on March 1 at First Christian Church with Pastor Timothy Singleton from First Southern Baptist Church was the speaker.
