Emily Nicole Hackman and Brian Michael Stevens, both of Olathe, were united in marriage on June 22, in an outdoor ceremony at The Journey Home in Dearborn, Mo. in a double ring ceremony officiated by Laura Liebman. The bride is the daughter of Anne and Bob Hackman of Jefferson City, Mo. The groom is the son of Sherri and Craig Stevens, La Crosse.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a vintage ivory gown with an overlay and train of sculpted lace. She wore her grandmother’s heirloom pearl necklace and carried a clutch bouquet of white gerbera daisies accented with orange lilies.
Matron of honor was April Treacy of Blue Springs, Mo. Bridesmaid was Katie Hrenchir of St. Joseph Mo. Junior bridesmaid was Alexa Reinhardt, niece of the groom, of Bison.
Best man was Garret Basgall of Gardner. Groomsman was Joel Lichtenauer of Olathe. Junior groomsman was Landon Reinhardt, nephew of the groom, of Bison.
Flower girls were Natalie Hackman, niece of the bride, of Jefferson City, Mo. and Izabella Reinhardt, niece of the groom, of Bison.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Jefferson City High School. In 2006, she graduated from the University of Central Missouri with a Bachelor of Science degree in Corporate Communications. She is employed as a client account manager with ATI Nursing Education.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of La Crosse High School. In 2003, he graduated from DeVry University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications Management. He is employed as the Manager of Store Operations for Hy-Vee Inc.
Following a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Olathe.
