ELLINWOOD — Ellinwood School/Community Library is excited to help celebrate the season on Sunday as Ellinwood observes Christkindlmarket the afternoon of Dec. 2.  This year, the library invites patrons to take part in a production of “A Christmas Carol” presented by Brett Crandall, a New York-based actor and producer.  He is launching a tour of Charles Dickens’ popular tale in his home state of Kansas.

While keeping true to the spirit of traveling performers, two actors showcase how you can create something from “nothing,” making kids believe they’re not in Kansas anymore.  Children are encouraged to participate as active audience members and select volunteers will act on stage.  This programming is designed to entertain while preserving the art of creating a live performance.

The Ellinwood Community Theater and the ESCL are partnering to sponsor the presentation.  Please join us.

Sheri Holmes is the director of library and media services for the Ellinwood School and Community Libraries. She can be reached by email at sholmes@usd355.org.
