The Golden Belt Humane Society’s Adopt A Pet will hold a fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in Jack Kilby Square. Volunteers will be set up near the band shell with four or five dogs from the shelter that are ready for adoption.

They will also be selling a lunch of walking tacos, cookies and a bottle of water for a $7 donation. All money earned goes to the direct care of shelter animals. For more information, orders or delivery, contact Jean by calling 620-786-5995.

Adopt A Pet will also resume its raffle for several gift baskets. The cost is $5 for six tickets; drop your tickets into your choice of baskets. Winners will be drawn at a later date.
