Afternoon collisions follow Wednesday snowfall

Snow began falling Wednesday afternoon in Great Bend, and several vehicle collisions were reported. With the self-reporting policy in effect, some of the collisions did not have police reports.
Vehicles driven by Maria Luna-Chairez and Santiago Talamontes collided at 3:25 p.m. at Broadway and Morton.
Corey Akers-Hartman and Kenneth Grauerholz collided at 3:41 p.m. in the 3200 block of 10th St.; Michael Sheppard and Elizabeth Cacek collided at 3:43 p.m. on 10th St.; and Heather Devine and Darlene Jones collided at 3:47 p.m. at Walmart.
A vehicle driven by Evan Schneider was southbound in the 1500 block of McKinley St. at 3:55 p.m. and struck a vehicle driven by David Rhodes, which was stopped in traffic.
Vehicles driven by Daniel Esparza and Jose Valeovinos collided at 4:03 p.m. on Broadway Ave.; Ismael Dominguez and Sonya Petrik collided at 4:21 p.m. on Kansas Ave.
Other accidents occurred at 3:34 p.m. in the 3300 block of 10th St.; 3:52 p.m. on 24th St.; 5:08 p.m. on 17th St.; 5:26 p.m. in the 3300 block of 24th St.; and 5:29 p.m. on 24th St.
