Alvin (Al) and Delores Grose celebrated their 70th anniversary on June 14. Alvin Grose will turn 90 on Dec. 31. To celebrate the anniversary and birthday, a come and go celebration will be held from 2-4 p.m. on July 1, at the First United Methodist Church, 137 N. Broadway in Sterling. Host for the celebration will be their children, Pam and Rod Smith and Cindy Putters, all of Sterling and Bruce and Pattie Grose of Fayetteville, Ark. The couple also have seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
