The annual Rosewood Rodeo scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 2 at the Expo Complex Indoor Arena west of Great Bend has been canceled.

Michael Dawes, director of public relations at Rosewood Services, said Friday morning that the event had been canceled and staff were in the process of notifying individuals and rodeo participants. An event is being organized for the participants in the future. Events for the silent auction, and in-house participants, are being organized for later in October.
