The 40th Annual Adam’s Apple Festival will take place this Saturday in Lucas. Events include a Color Me Happy 5K Run at 8:30 a.m. (registration begins at 7:30); craft booths on Main Street starting at 9 a.m.; parade at 10:30 a.m. and barbecue at noon at the City Park.
In the afternoon there will be entertainment, kids games and inflatables, a motorcycle poker run, dunk tank, mechanical bull and beer garden, with “Sister Whiskey.”
