Next year’s budget is on the agenda for the next meeting of the Barton Community College Board of Trustees, set for 4 p.m. Thursday in room F-30, the Seminar Room of the Fine Arts Building.
The board will vote on the Fiscal Year 2014 operating budget, and on publication of the 2013-14 budget with an estimated tax rate of 32.7 mills. A budget hearing will be set for 4 p.m. on Aug. 8.
Other items on the agenda are extension of the president’s contract, election of board officers, athletic insurance and personnel. There will be a presentation on eduKan and a monitoring report on student feedback about their “Barton Experience.
