BCC unveils Computer Aided Drafting certificate program

Barton Community College will be offering a new 21 credit-hour Computer Aided Drafting certificate program beginning in the upcoming spring 2012 semester. Supported by grant funds, the program will offer students the ability to work with state of the art CAD software. The program includes classes on campus with the option of taking some courses online.

The first class in the curriculum, Technical Drafting, will begin Jan. 9 and will be held from 6-9 p.m. on Mondays.

Area architect Jill Fitzsimmons will be the instructor.
